I've seen and enjoyed this at Disney World on each trip and am wondering if it is worth spending the $$ to do the dessert package, as it appears this is the only place you can sit to view it. Also it seems like it has the best views. How long can you stay up there after Fantasmic? Can you view the fireworks show from up there?

Yes, you can stay to watch the fireworks, but then you have to move so they can get ready for the 10:30 show.

If you do not want to wait for a long time, then you might want to get the balcony or premium seating, but if you don't mind waiting, you can stake out a spot. The people in front sit on the ground, and the people behind them stand for the show.

Like Mary Jo said if you don't want the long wait then get the balcony seating. Otherwise, plan on staking out a seat and waiting aprox. 1 hour on the hard cement. (I usually always bring pillows and blankets for this.)

I noticed that this is the same price as the balcony seating. How does this one work? I read that the cm brings you your drink, but do you go up to the balcony to get your dessert? Is there a dessert buffet near the premium seating or is it just a box dessert and if so what is it?
