Fantasmic! runs virtually every night of the year at DHS, and sometimes two or three performances.

Probably getting confused with Disneyland, where Fantasmic! closed from January 2016 for Star Wars Land construction. I think it should reopen in early 2017.

Nope, now they have both! Timing might be difficult to see them both on the same night though, depending.

They had them both the other night and yes, the timing was difficult. We ended up choosing F! since a few in our group had never seen it due to weather cancellations. We remained in the theater while the crowd dispersed and saw some of the fireworks from there but with F! at 9:00 and SW at 9:30 it was near impossible. Many people started leaving the theater when the boat with all the characters at the end of F! came out and I was guessing they were trying to get to a spot of the fireworks but F! was a higher priority for our group.

When Fantasmic is performed twice in a evening, we've found that it's much easier to attend the fireworks then move into the amphitheater for the 2nd Fantasmic performance.

I saw the Star Wars fireworks & thought they replaced it.

They're not done in the same area.

Fantasmic is done in the arena near Tower of Terror. The Star Wars fireworks are done from the Chinese Theater

Managed to see both a couple weeks ago. Watched F! until the finale started then ducked out over to center for fireworks. We were off to the side a bit but still had a good view. Seeing both is not ideal, but it's doable.
