Has anyone done the Fantasmic Dinner package with a child in a wheelchair? Will this work? I would like to use the dinner package so our wait before the show won't be as long. Thanks in advance. :earsboy:

Works just fine. You dont really need the dinner package - they have a section of wheelchair-accessible spaces up at the top of the theatre. But I have heard that the dinner package is very nice, and it would give you some time to relax before the show. I believe there are accessible spots in front as well as at the top, you do run the risk of getting wet there.... which could be fun, or not. I will say, you get a nice, full view from the top.

We have done the Fantasmic dinner package many times. We find it worth it because we are assured of eating a nice dinner, assured of a seat in the reserved section (assuming you get there in time), don't have to wait in long, slow moving lines, etc. I usually rent an ECV at the park & have always found the CMs to be very helpful & accommodating. There is a section along the top of the amphitheater reserved for guests with disabilities & their guests. The CMs are very strict about who sits in this section & I appreciate that :).

On our last trip there were no ECVs available when I got to the Studios about 2 p.m. I did get a GAC from Guest Services. We did the dinner package with friends. When I got to the top of the amphitheater I showed my GAC & was able to sit in the section reserved for guests with disabilities. The CMs could not have been nicer & more helpful!! I found a supervisor to compliment the CMs!
