Fantasmic to Ohana?

I'm trying to plan our last night at the parks for our trip in October and not sure about the timing of things and would appreciate everyone's input.

We'll be finishing up at HS with Fantasmic at 7:30. I'm hoping to go from there to 'Ohana for dinner and then watch Wishes from the beach. Fantasmic is about a half hour long. We'll have our own car. Do you think we can make an 8:00 reservation without feeling too rushed? I'm not sure if Wishes will be at 9:00 that night or 10:00. If it is at 9, I think that probably isn't a workable plan. But if it is 10, this should be doable, right?

I agree. I can only see this working if Wishes is at 10:00 and you can get a 9:00 ADR.

Fantasmic is not going to be over to approximately 8 pm (which you say is your desired reservation time?). The stadium unloads slow so it might take you at least 30 minutes to get from your seat out the front gates to your car depending on where you sit and where your car is. If you need the tram add more time. If DHS is closing it could take another 10+ minutes just to exit the parking lot. Add 15 minutes to drive to Poly, clear the security gate and find a parking spot. I'd put your arrival at Ohana closer to 9 pm if all goes well so I wouldn't bank on a Wishes beach viewing unless they are at 10 pm. I def wouldn't plan on an Ohana dinner.

Maybe dinner at Califonrnia Grill would be a better pick?

The choice of restaurant is not the issue. The issue is the fact that you are trying to cram so much pixie dust in that last 3 hours that you are going to be too stressed to enjoy it. Choose Fantasmic with a relaxing dinner afterwards, or Wishes with an enjoyable dinner before.

Getting food @ Captain Cook's would be a far easier choice.
