This is a show I DO NOT want to miss! The Oct hours post only 1 show time at 8 p.m. (which I don't quite understand b/c it says the park closes at 8 p.m.??) Anyway, I do not plan to book a Fantasmic! dinner package, any other tips for how I can get a spot or is it just stand in line for an hour & hope??

TIA!
Shelly :wizard: (Pixie Dust please for Fantasmic!?)

Hi!

I'm not sure how crowded it is during your stay but I would suggest getting to the Theatre at least 45 minutes earlier. Try sitting right smack in the middle of the theatre - you will be able to see everything.

Have a great time!

That's just the time they close the gates and queues. We saw it at 10:30 on a night they closed at 10.

Cheers.

All I can say to this is we've watched Fantasmic 2 times and the first time was AWFUL because we weren't there early enough. This was Oct. of 2003. We showed up about 15 minutes before it started (we were newbie's and didn't know much then :confused3 ).

We had to stand WAY in the back and couldn't see at all. Our feet were aching and my dd couldn't see at all, so my poor DH put her on his shoulders. It was a horrible experience, but from what we could see, we knew it was a wonderful show.

Well, we went back last Oct. and decided to do the FDP at H & V because we wanted to really be able to see and enjoy it this time. We loved the FDP. The buffet was surprisingly good and going in the "back way" was cool :cool1: The seats are to your right when facing the stage, but we sat all the way over and were basically in the middle of the auditorium. We were actually one of the first families to arrive in the reserved section (30 min. prior) and the other sections were completely full when we arrived (it was standing room only for them). We felt like VIP's

My best advice would be to either wait the 90 minutes to 2 hours beforehand OR do the FDP. Even in "non-busy" times, Fantasmic is VERY popular. Oh, to answer your other question - when there is only one showign - the show starts at the time the park is closing (in your case 8pm).

Good luck in your decision. :)

We did the dinner package in 2003 (last week of October).

There was only one showing.

We eat at the Brown Derby (wonderful food and service)

WE had a PS at 6pm. WE(are a couple no kids). Took our time and 1 1/2 to eat.

Went to the "secret back door" to Fantasmic at 7:30pm. Walked right in and was seated to the right. The rest of the show was standing room only. Our view was excellent.

We have gone twice at the end of Sept. We get in line about 45 min before showtime. To make it a little more enjoyable we have a snack while waiting and bring a small toy--(deck of cards, 20 questions ball etc..)
We have never had to wait in line more that 45 min and have always had very good seats.

Good Luck!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic in your siggy.....Passing under that sign always puts butterflies in my stomach...and I can never get them on film (cant turn the flash off in time)

We've seen Fantasmic probably 25 times but had our first bad seats during our trip in June. We sat between the middle and the left side. There was a pole in our way and we were between the water screens so we couldn't see the video on either.
If you can't sit in the center, sit in the center of the far left.

We always carry in dinner (we like the commissary food) and take a deck of Disney UNO cards to entertain us while we wait.
