Fantasmic seats next week?

We will be in DL next week? (yah us!) For those that have been recently, When should we begin looking for seating for the 2nd showing of Fantasmic? We were there in Nov. and when we got to the show an hour ahead we couldn't find a spot. Luckily a nice family let us sit with them. In Nov. there was only the one show a night so it might have been a bit busier. We don't need to "best" spot but a spot under the roped section where we can sit and see. Thanks.

right after the first show plus a lot of people will stay and watch fireworks.

2nd show shouldnt be hard to get a good spot

Hang out up by Splash Mountain and Winnie the Pooh during fireworks. Have a late snack at Hungry Bear or the Pooh's Corner candy store. As soon as fireworks are done, most of the masses of people will be moving out toward the gates, and you can swoop in behind them and grab seats near the front. You should only have a 45 minute or so wait at that point till F! starts at 10:30. Bring along a treat you picked up at Pooh's corner, enjoy it as you wait, and people watch.

I haven't done this personally, but have heard the process described by several people who have.

I always like to watch the fireworks first and then see the later showing of Fantasmic. Getting a spot to settle down in is much easier than getting one for the first show. A spot behind the railing of a plant always works for me.
