Fantasmic Seating

We recieve reserved seating at Fantasmic as part of the Platinum Package. Can anyone tell me where this is. Also is it the same as the seating if we had done a Fantasmic Dinner Package? We have to make reservations through concierge and show up a half hour before showtime.

Sounds right to me.

But do not wait until 30 minutes before.
Go earlier, as there have been reports of the "reserved" section filling up a bit before a half-hour ahead of show-time.

We did the dining package in July and got there about 15 minutes before. There were plenty of seats available. I would assume that your reserved seats are in the same reserved area as the dining package but I am not sure. If they are, then the seats are in the far right section of the theatre, still good views but I can imagine if you got there at the very end, you would be stuck with a view that isn't all that great.

Yes. That has been the "normal" situation.

BE WARNED however, that it is not ALWAYS the case.
There was a major thread here within the last couple of months that told a sad tale of the reserved section (and the rest of the theater) being full at 30 minutes before show-time.

I have not encountered this myself, but I made note of it at the time it occurred (there were others who offered similar disappointments on other nights.)

The problem is, if this occurs, that there is nothing the CM's can do about it.
If this is your only night to see Fantasmic!, don't count on what "normally" happens. Don't wait too late.

I assume Fantasmic is a fireworks show- where at and at what times?

It's at Disney Studio's and is shown at different times depending on when you go... it's not a fireworks show.. a little different.
