calling at 8am tomorrow for Fantasmic seating and dessert for Oct 16th, 9pm show.
Last time I saw the show was from the Balcony of the Disney Gallery now Disney Suite;)

From what I have read the balcony experience was better overall:confused3, but we have to give it a try.

any tips on the day of the show about seating, lining up, how far in advance to line up for seat assignments etc., would be appreciated, since we have never done it this way before.:rolleyes1

I'll be calling right along with you tomorrow at 8am :thumbsup2. DD11 and I will be celebrating my 50th birthday :woohoo: If ya gotta turn 50, it might as well be at Disneyland watching Fantasmic!, right?:cool1::love::woohoo:

I've been reading that you need to line up 2 hrs before check in time to get good seats. I think we will just play it by ear. I'm not sure if I want to stand in line that long, lol.

Hi, there's been a lot of recent posting activity on this thread, might help with more information.

I have reservations for Oct. 10th? Never done it before, I just hope I can get the rest of my party to show up early for good seats!

Only one person needs to stand in line to get seat assignments for the whole group. They've expanded the viewing area since the last time I'd seen it and this time we got the center section..the one with only one row. It was OK..the images on the water screens weren't very sharp, but the rest was fine. Then my D23 friend and I went and stood waaay to the side..by the rafts..and the screens were perfect and even views of Mickey were much closer. But..I still like the premium seats because of the comfort level. You could actually skip dinner and just eat stuff from the box for the meal.

got my reservations for 9pm seating on Oct.16.....wooohoooo:cool1:

now to see how it measures up to the old balcony seating and experience.

Have fun. We just did this in August and I have always felt the balacony was the best.
