Hello!

My family will be staying in Disney 9/3-9/11.

How busy/hard is it to get seats for Fantasmic with out the Fantasmic dinning package? We currently have it for Saturday but are thinking of doing Hollywood on Friday instead. The crowd calendars list Friday as a green day.
What are your opinions?

Thanks!

I've been the past two years at this time (the offseason) and it's not difficult at all to get seats. You'll see some people line up an hour or so before but we always walk in right before the show starts and there are plenty of seats without having to stand in line.

A few years ago when they were only showing Fantasmic twice a week during the slower seasons it was a madhouse. We saw it once in that time frame and swore we wouldn't go back until it was showing every night again.

Now that it is back to a nightly (or close to it) schedule, it shouldn't be bad at all. I would still try to pick a "green" day of the week for DHS in general. Even the slower seasons can be crowded on a "bad" day and I find that I notice it more at DHS than any of the other parks.

We're picky about our seats so we would still go 45 minutes before show time and snack while we wait for the show to start.
