Fantasmic question during evening Magic Hours

We are going to be in DHS during evening magic hours. I have an ADR for the afternoon Fantasmic package. Which means we get seats for the first Fantasmic. I was reading up on DHS with the new Frozen activities and getting worried the park is going to be insane. Our plan was to go to the first showing of Fantasmic, watch the new fireworks and then run around and get on as many rides as we can till midnight. I did read that in order to see the fireworks you need to go to the second showing of fantasmic but then I saw if you have a plan you will be fine. We are fine with seeing the preshow on the big screen before the fireworks. So my question really is will all the rides still be open after the fireworks if the park is to be open to midnight? I read they close during the second Fantasmic (that is only during a regular night, Correct?) Thanks!

1. Yes. Rides are open until park close.

Thanks I never heard of that before either but I read two different posts this AM stating that. Glad I was right.

I went back to try to find it and of cause I can't. They said go to the second Fantasmic because the rides are closed anyway. After reading more posts I'm thinking they must had been talking about the days when the park closes before Fantasmic is over. We will be there an EMH night so we are good. Thanks for taking the time out to help me.

It is still not unusual to find a Fantasmic scheduled 30 minutes or so after park close--did one myself a couple months ago. In that case of course rides would be closed during Fantasmic, but it is not because of Fantasmic.

I would agree that this is what was meant because Fantasmic is often scheduled to start 30 minutes after DHS closes, meaning if the park closes at 8:00 and Fantasmic is scheduled for 8:30, you can't get in line for any rides after 8:00 because the park is closed.
