We are taking newbies with us this year (family of 4, girls ages 6 and 3:cutie:) and wondering if it would be better for us to do the Fantasmic Package than trying to get everyone in to see the show without sitting for 2 hrs beforehand. This doesn't bother DH and I but we think the kids might not be up to that challenge.

Opinions?

We are the newbies since we haven't been since before AK and DHS opened. We opted to go for the dining package since we knew our kids (6 & 8 at the time of the trip) would not be able to stand in line for two hours. I started reading on here that it was nearly impossible to get these packages since they have cut the number of shows down. They are still only showing it three times per week at the end of June when we are going. Hopefully they will add more shows during the summer if they see it sold out all of the time, but be prepared that it will be difficult to get this package.

I could not get one on my 90 + 10 day, but calling back on the 90 day from when we wanted to book I was able to get H&V. I had wanted Mama Melrose around 5pm and got H&V at 3:30. I'm just happy to have it though, so we took it.

Good luck and I'd say with 3 & 6 yr olds try to get the package if you can.

If you think it would cut down on the stress I would do the package.

It is true that it is getting harder and harder to get into this package so book as soon as you can and be flexible with the time. The good news is you could do it as early at 3p so maybe it would be OK to plan as a late lunch.
