Hi- We did the package two years ago and thought it was great as we have two kids and it was nice to basically walk right in. But..... I was just reading a trip report that included pics and one was of their great seat at fantasmic. Well it was a great seat- thinking back we were off to the side (but we didnt know any better)
So what is the story with the package seats? Are they all to the side? Anybody know?

Thanks
p.s.- we are already booked for the package for Oct!

The fantasmic dinner package seating is all in that section to the far side. On our first trip we booked the package but it was during a slower time of year. When we got there, there were a ton of empty seats in the center so we just moved.

A few years ago when we did the Dinner package we were seated to far end and I was totally not impressed with the reserve seating area. This past Oct 2005 we did the Dinner package and the area was basically opened to the entire areas accept for the far ends which were saved for the people without the package. It was so much better and we were able to sit center front. I wouldn't have recommended the Dinner package before but after this recent time YES it's now worth it.

Funny we did the Dinner Package in December 2005 and the reserved area was the far right side when you face the stage. I also believe you could move if you really wanted to since the two populations do mesh together if you use the restrooms or food concession behind the central seating area.

My family and I did this as well when we went in the Summer of 2001. Eating dinner and being able to guarantee yourselves seats in the Fantasmic arena is a good feeling and well worth the money in busy times of the year. When we went, we were sat on the complete end of the seating area. From the previous posts in this thread, I am assuming this has changed. If this is in fact true, we will definately be doing this when we go this summer. :)

Actually the far right is great. It's closest to the exit so you're ahead of the herd to the bus stop. The 3 projectors are the same. And there's not enough going on on the stage to really matter all that much relative to what's going on on the projectors. The best seats are right in front of the projectors be they right, middle, or left. The worst seats are midway between them.

Last time we went in October the place was packed. This was on an MGM day that was fairly light. I was surprised. We walked in about 30 minutes prior and got a good seat top right right in front of the projector. Perfect. The Standby line was rolling in also, the only seats left were far left. That filled up quickly and people filled up the SRO sections behind us. They reported waiting longer than we did for our package seats (45-60min) for those.

I was glad we had the package.

Now if they move us to the middle, I won't mind. But I thought the right was fine.

Thanks Ok still soing package. Cant wait - I thought it was the best show at WDW.
