Today I made ADR's for the Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby. Can someone tell me what the price includes and how this works?? Do you need to sit and wait for hours for the show to start or does the price automatically mean you will have seating.:confused3

Basically you are paying for a prix fixe meal at Brown Derby, and when they bring your check you will receive a voucher that will permit your party to enter the preferred seating area, which is the far right side of the amphitheatre as you enter from behind the seats.

They sell a fixed number of packages from Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, and Hollywood & Vine, which theoretically means you do have a seat - but with people sneaking into the section and whatnot it is still a good idea to head to the theatre early. Not two or three hours, but still no later than 45 minutes or so before showtime. I think the vouchers we got last time we did the package had an 'expiration' time on them - something like 30 minutes before showtime - and after that point then we had to fend for ourselves to find seats.

The price includes an appetizer, (any except for Cobb Salad unless you share it) an entree and a desert. You can choose whatever you like from the menu. When you get to fantasmic you show your ticket and you go to reserve seating. The seating is sort of off to the side but it has always been fine for us. The sooner you get to fantasmic the better the seat but you are guaranteed a seat with your ticket, and you dont have to wait in line. :)

Actually, I believe you do now have to wait in line. They eliminated the backdoor entrance for the package holders. Everyone goes in the same entrance now.

we have booked this for next week. I will report back when I return. Have to admit since recent reports of the problems with the shared entrance etc. we are a bit concerned but Fantasmic is something we have never seen and on my DS 'must-do' list for this trip.
