Fantasmic or SW Dessert Party

which would you choose and why?
We have seen Fantasmic, twice and currently have the fantasmic dining booked for 4-1-2017 but was looking for feedback on the SW party. We are not big SW fans if that makes a difference

Are the desserts worth the cost? Especially if you are not big fans? We saw the Star Wars Spectacular (great show) last November and got decent viewing about 15-20 minutes before it started. We found an OK place along the left side and as people moved around and opened space we moved toward the center.

Why would you do the dessert party if you aren't big Star Wars fans?

Why not save the money, go buy your favorite dessert and watch it from in front of the Chinese Theater?

I loved the overall experience at the Star Wars dessert party and the show itself was fantastic. The desserts were fun, especially the flash-frozen dessert. Yum.

I find the current SW fireworks to be super disappointing in comparison to the original show. I've never done the dessert party so maybe that aspect of the experience would be fun but the show alone isn't worth it in my opinion.
