Looking at the calendar for HS for the next 2 weeks, Fantasmic has showings at 9 and 10:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. And only at 9pm the other days. I will be there on Tuesday, June 17. The calendar hasn't updated to the 2 shows yet but am I correct in assuming it will be updated to the 2 shows soon?

I have a dinner package that day but if there are 2 shows I'd much rather just go to the later one at 10:30 after the park closes than the one at 9 that comes with the dinner package.

Thanks!

19 more days!

Most likely will be two shows. Wait til they announce it for sure and drop the dinner package, you really shouldn’t need it. Just arrive early, get a snack and sit down and relax til the show starts.

Or, use the dinner package and go do another attraction or two while those who didn't do the dinner package sit and twiddle their thumbs waiting for the show. 🤣

@wvjules, we'll be there the same day. :thumbsup2

I'm going to walk around HS and yell for Sam!

I saw we are there at the same time on another thread.

I had seen we were both going to be at WDW, didn't realize same park. lol

Where did you see the the 10;30 show? Looking at my MDE app, the 17th (and the 10th) both show HS closing at 9p.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, it has 2 shows this week and next week. Hasn't updated for our dates yet. Last 10:30 show is currently listed for June 7, the next one that it should be is the 10th but it is still only showing the one show at 9.

I don't think the hours are updated beyond the 7th yet. I think they are usually 10 days in advance.

I knew I had seen it somewhere, but couldn't remember where.

I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead. 🤣

I wouldn't go dropping that ADR quite yet. Hopefully Disney adds the late show (would be nice for my plans as well!) but it will depend on their crowd expectations. I believe there was another thread looking at this and when I dug back into last year's sched early June had some 2 showing nights but not the rest of the month.

I am not dropping it yet. I plan to wait for the schedule to update. Fantasmic is a high priority for me this trip since I missed in December 2024.

Yes, that was my question last week. Here's the thread:

@sam_gordon and @wvjules, it looks like we've got some overlapping days/parks. ::MickeyMo I also have the dining package, but if they wind up having a 10:30, I may drop it (although, my ADR is for a couple of days earlier). It's a high priority for me this year, too. The last time we went to WDW was in 2021 and Fantasmic wasn't back in operation yet. We went to Disneyland in 2023, but the Maleficent dragon caught fire a few weeks before and we had no Fantasmic during that trip either. I may keep the dining package ADR because it sounds like they're actually prime seats now as opposed to many years ago when they weren't necessarily the best seats in the theater.

As you can see, I don't search! lol

Yes, the seating does seem to be more prime with the package than they have been in the past. Something else to consider.

They recommend you arrive 30-45 minutes early even with the package, so it doesn’t really save a ton of time and the views are good in the non reserved section also. I’ve done the show with and without the package several times each and there’s not much of a difference, besides the around $20-$30 per person extra charge for the seats (over the price of the regular meal). And with two showings the second one will be emptier so you won’t have to get there too early and you can do rides during the first show when most people are at the show.
