Is Fantasmic too intense for a DD4 and a DS1? Our DD has seen Sleeping Beauty countless times and doesn't have a problem with the dragon in the movie, however, she gets scared when the wolves come out in Beauty and the Beast. Also, she is not a huge fan of really loud noises (even though she is the source of most of the loud noises ;) ) like fireworks displays. It is funny sometimes she just loves them, then other times she says she is scared of the bangs. :confused3

Hi!

The first time my boys saw Fantasmic they were 3,5,7 - and they absolutely loved it  They were not scared of it one bit. Christopher, Nicholas and Jonathan sat through the entire show in amazement. :goodvibes. Have a great time!

It completely depends on your kids. You know them better than we do!

We have friends with a 3YO who loved it and a 6YO who was scared to death. But that's what I would expect knowing their personalities.

It's loud, dark, and there are lots of bad guys, and some fire. But it has a happy ending!

I was worried about taking my DS to this when he was 4 because of the fire & villians (especially the wicked queen/dragon part :maleficen ) He covered his eyes a little, but in the end he loved it. The other posters are right. It all depends on your child! Maybe sitting toward the back of the theater would help a little...
