With today's changes in tiers at DHS I was able to change what was once a tier 2, Great Movie Ride, to a different tier 1, Fantasmic, while keeping our Toy Story tier 1 as well. Is Fantasmic as a "bonus" tier 1 FP a good choice? Anyone use a Fantasmic FP recently that can share whether there is reserved seating? I've read conflicting reports. Thanks!

:welcome:

There is no reserved seating, and if you schedule a FP for it, you will not likely get any additional FPs for the day. In order to get more than 3, you have to use the first 3(or they have to expire) before you can get your 4th (5th, 6th...).

we just returned from 10 nights... on our first HS day, as we were about to leave around 2:30 we checked the kiosks and got fantasmic for our party of 7 (9pm show).. we were fine with not being able to get anymore fp, as we were leaving anyway..

we showed up around 8:40 and they were announcing that it was standing room only for the stand by crowd (which was large)... the dinner package got the center sections... standby was all the way over the the right and fp+ was from the center over to the left.. we ended up getting a front row seat toward the left.. forgot about getting alittle wet, but it actually felt good ;)

I am not sure I would book it over TSM or RnR but it was a great bonus..

We went to the late show on June 1. Fast Passes were available right up until showtime but weren't needed. The stadium was less than half full.

Were the center sections reserved for FP+ holders for the second show? Or could stand by guests sit in the center sections? Thank you.

The very center section and to the left were reserved for fast pass holders. To the right of center were for standby.

We arrived about 10 minutes before show time and found seats in the best standby section, about half way up.

It would be about the equivalent of sitting on the 40 yard line at a football game.

Had a fast pass there when we went last month. I would say it came in handy. We say lower middle. On a busy day if you want certain seats a FP+ is needed. If your ok with top seats then you should be fine without it. The place is all open and you can see it all from any seat. Have a great time.
