1. We are thinking about downgrading our deluxe dining to the standard but wanted to know if this would affect us being able to use it at the fantasmic dinner or at narcoossees?
2. Also has anyone had the standard package and ate around the world at epcot? How did you work your credits? Did you pay oop for it?
1. The number of credits required for the Fantasmic! Dining Package or Narcoossee's doesn't change regardless of which dining plan you use. It will still be 2 TS credits for Narcoossee's, but the standard
DDP does not include a appetizer so if you order one you'll have to pay OOP.
For the F!DP it will be 1 TS credit at MM or H&V, 2 credits at HBD. You'll still receive the same number of courses regardless of which plan you're using. Many on the DDP are happy that it includes an appetizer for each adult at MM and HBD.
Note that on the DxDDP you have 3 dining credits per night to be used at TS or CS. On the regular DDP you have 1 TS and 1 CS per night. The DxDDP includes 2 snacks per night; the DDP has 1.
2. If you are asking about using the TS and CS credits at the various restaurants in the WS, we have used many. Almost all of the dining venues are included in the dining plan, but there are a few exceptions. I can think of the Pub section of Rose and Crown, La Cava, Tutto Gusto Wine Bar, maybe the new place in Morocco and places that only have alcoholic beverages. The dining plan brochures will list the places that accept dining credits.
2. If you are asking about eating around the WS during Food & Wine or Flower & Garden, only the snack credits can be used for non-alcoholic food items and non-alcoholic beverages at the kiosks. Since some items at the kiosks can cost around $6.50-$7.00 it's a good use of snack credits. When we have the dining plan we definitely use the snack credits at the kiosks. You cannot use any of the TS or CS credits for any of the F&W events.
