Is the new policy that you must pay in full for the dinner? What happens if it rains? I am planning to make ps for the package in December for H&V- we'll probably eat here anyway. Is the package the same price as just dinner?
I know there is a thread at the top- but I didn't read the whole thing!
TIAprincess:

No, you just have to give a CC for a guarantee. If you do not show up, they charge $10 per adult and $5 per child. You have 48 hours to cancel not to get charged.

There is no price difference for H&V.

Thanks- I knew that's the way it was last year, but I knew there were some changes to dinner shows recently and wanted to check. I'll go ahead and make the ps!!!princess:

Now I'm confused! I thought that the Fantasmic Dinner Package had to be paid in full at time of booking, with a 48 hour cancellation/refund policy.

Well, unless it's changed in the last couple of weeks then no, it's just a CC hold. It's to prevent people from not canceling and then not showing up.

I did this August 23 and was not charged anything...paid in Disney Dollars.

They did ask for my CC though and told me they would charge me $10/$5 for not showing up/not canceling within 48 hours.

There was something about PS for certain meals that the PS was made after 8/29 and you had to pay in full at the time of making the PS. I think Mickey's Backyard BBQ and HDDR, not sure about Fantasmic though. You might want to look back through the posts around the end of August to find out.

Well, just booked Fantasmic package for H&V Dec. 8. The cm said that if you did not cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged the full amount- not just so much a person. Thanks for the replies. Will Dec. ever get here?????princess:

tink2, just wondering what time they gave you for dinner. We are thinking of doing this later in December and just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks!

They gave us 4:10. I took it b/c that was around the time we wanted anyway. We don't plan to eat lunch and let this be our meal of the day. Don't know how late they book them.
Good luck!princess:
