Hi,

Just a quick question about the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. Last time we went, we didn't do the package, and ended up having to sit in the stands waiting..but had good seats. I was thinking of making dinner ressies at one of the restaurants that include seats to Fantasmic this time, but had heard somewhere that the reserved seating was way off to the side. Has anybody done one of these packages? Could you confirm where the seats are?

Thanks!!!

Hi,

yes the seats are all the way to the right side, but remember there really is no bad seat in the ampitheater. The package basically takes about an hour off of your wait time...instead of waiting 90 minutes before the show...you only need to show up about 30 minutes before.

When I go I usually get the package if there is only one show that night...if there are two...you usually don't need it if you go to the second show.

Aww..right..there are likely going to be two shows when I am there...never thought of that. Thanks...that's why I love these boards!!!

Just checked the schedule, and we are planning to be at MGM on July 4. Looks like there are fireworks at 9 and then Fantasmic at 10...Anybody know what kind of firework show it might be? And if it will be located in the same venue as Fantasmic? Could make for a long sit?

We did the package in January and the reserved seats were in the section on the right of the middle section. We got on the front row. It was great.

Are there two shows in November? What restaurants offer the package?

It depends on what part of November you're going. There are two shows starting Wed before Thanksgiving through that weekend but only one show for every other day of November as far as I know.

The restaurants offering the package are Hollywood & Vine ($22.99 adults/$10.99 kids, buffet, so-so food reviews), Mama Melrose ($28.99 adult/$10.99 kids, great food but limited menu for the package), and the Hollywood Brown Derby ($36.99 adult/$10.99 kids, has great reviews, no limited menu).

Menus & package details are on www.allearsnet.com .

If you're on the Dining plan- H&V and MM are 1 TS, HBD is 2 TS credits.

We booked the HBD Fantasmic Package for September during free dining!

We usually do the Fantasmic Dinner Package when we go. We look at it like this...You are probably going to end up eating in the park anyway, so why not get something other then your meal out of it. We normally end up at Hollywood and Vine.

To stephwynn:
Normally, the fireworks on the 4th of July at MGM is a special show called Sorcery In The Sky. I think it is only shown twice a year (4th of July and New Years). It is a great show if you have a chance to take it in. Regarding getting to Fantasmic after the fireworks...That might be tricky because it can be really crowded and tough to move around after Sorcery In The Sky.

Have fun everyone!!!
