Are these packages still available? Which restaurants and is it worth it?

How far in advance can you make the reservation?

Thanks!!!

We just did the Fantasmic Dinner Package last week at Hollywood Brown Derby. I believe the cost is approx $37 per adult and $15 per child. This included an appetizer, entree, and dessert for each person. The food and service were wonderful. We have also done the dinner package at Mama Melrose, which is also a GREAT restaurant. I think it is worth it to not have to wait in the crowd to get in and be guaranted a seat. The theater really fills up fast, and we have seen the show several times when it was standing room in the back. The show is incredible. I have also heard people upset that the seats for the dinner package are not centered, but I don't think it really matters because the way the set is laid out, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I would suggest making them a few months in advance. You will be asked to secure the reservation with a credit card, which is different from making a priority seating.

Enjoy.

I have called to get a package for late May and they are only booking the deal through April 30th right now. They said to call back in mid-April. Thought you might want to know!

We signed up for Mama Melrose that day. We had to get a really bad PS time but that was understandable because we hadn't made it in advance. So we ended up with a 4:30 dinner PS. That was ok we just ate a snack at lunchtime and then we were hungry at 4:30. The frustrating thing was though that the place was empty at 4:30 and even when we left at 5:45 it was STILL empty. Why couldn't we have had a later PS? Seems like we saw that at the restaurants a lot. No PS's available but plenty of room at the restaurants. And it wasn't because of cutbacks in staff either because there was a lot of waitstaff just waiting around for walkins. I think they are inefficient on their PS bookings. We would have been better off just walking up at 6:00. But, the food was really good and the fantasmic tickets worked out great.
