Fantasmic dinner package ?

If I make a dinner reservation online for one of the restaurants that include the fantasmic dinner package do I need to make other arrangements or do I just pick up my voucher after dinner time?

Thanks! I have reservations for dinner, but would LOVE the fantasmic VIP voucher as well!

You would need to reserve a Fantasmic dinner package. A regular reservation at a Fantasmic restaurant is not the same thing. Usually the Fantasmic package meal is after lunch or early dinner.

You can make these online or call the Disney Dining line to reserve.

Once you have the Fantasmic package you will get the voucher after you have paid for your meal. It will only include those that are on the reservation that actually ordered a meal.

Thanks this is our first time to go during Christmas! I am very excited and the best part is my son has NO idea!!

Just a few tips for you... the website sometimes has issues with booking this one, so you may have to call to book it. If there are slots still available, Brown Derby is often the easiest one to get of the 3 restaurants since it's signature. Hollywood & Vine tends to be the next easiest b/c of food reviews. We've found that Mama Melrose is the toughest of the 3 options to find a spot. Be very flexible with your times and make sure you look for openings at odd times. I remember when I booked it, I asked for dinner and the person on the phone searched with a range of 4-6pm. I was crushed when she said there was nothing - I mean, here it is 7am on day 180...then I asked her if she could check between 2-4pm and VOILA- openings! We wound up with a 3:50p slot!!! A pp noted that the vouchers are only for the people on your meal reservation, but from our experiences- they don't take names. My parents were able to give their vouchers to my brother and SIL without any issue. Final thought- if you get Mama Melrose- we found service to be slow. We were sprinting to make it to the Fantasmic theater by 6pm. We made it with 3 min to spare! Whew!

Have an awesome trip! And hope your son enjoys the surprise. We went in December last year and it was AWESOME!!! We surprised our girls with a trip to WDW back in August and while it wasn't their first time to the world, the video was priceless!
