I need some help!

We are going to WDW in October. I have made reservations at HV for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. After hearing the reviews I am wondering if it is really worth it.

Should I make reservations somewhere else and just wait in line for the show or keep the reservations. I feel that if the dinner is bad and we really don't want to go there then we would be wasting a TS.

Any advice would be appreciated.

:sad2:

I have never eaten at HV, but we have done the Fantasmic Package with Mama's and Brown Derby. We thought both were good and a great deal for the price. And it certainly makes it easier getting a nice spot for Fantasmic! Is it too late to make a Fantasmic dinner arrangement at one of the other restaurants? Otherwise, if the items on the HV menu appeal to your group, you might as well try it - maybe you'll have a great experience!

WE've always dined at the Brown Derby for the Fantasmic Package. The food has always been great. The grapefruit cake is devine!

I ate here on our last trip for the Fantasmic package and thought the dinner was quite good. It wasn't the best buffet we had (that was CP), but it was a good dinner. Also, my MIL and SIL went to the wrong entrance for Fantasmic, so they were seated in the regular section while my husband and I were seated in the reserved seating. Our seats were a lot better than theirs and we showed up about a half hour later than they did. Overall, I think it was worth it and would do it again.

I did the fantasmic dinner package at HV this past February. I thought that the food was good, and it is definently worth it to (1) not have to wait in line to get INTO fanatasmic & (2) not have to wait in line to get OUT of fantasmic. When I went on my honeymoon a few years ago, we waited almost 30 minutes just to get out of the amphitheater!

Plus, the make your own ice cream sundae bar at HV is awesome!! :thumbsup2
