Fantasmic Dinner Package? Need it on Sept 24?

We currently have an ADR at Mama Melrose for the FDP. Do I need it since crowds have been so low? Or should I cancel the FDP and just make it a regular non-FDP ADR? Can I change when I get there, or do I need to call Disney Dining and make the change now?

I'm assuming you're on the free dining plan, so why would you cancel it, isn't it one TS credit either way? Just go and enjoy dinner and then if it wasn't necessary no big deal, and if you did need it, you will be patting yourself on the back!

We are on the Dining Plan, but if we get a "regular" ADR, we are paying for this entire meal OOP to save our credits for CRT or another meal. We might even change over to 50's Prime Time if we don't need the FDP.

We are very excited about the CR. Can't wait!

I think you have to cancel at least 48hrs prior, or your CC will be charged $10 per person for a "no show". Right?

I see, that makes sense. I personally don't care for Mama Melrose, we have never had great service or food there. I would switch to Primetime and just get to Fantasmic early. I LOVE Primetime it is so much fun!

I too have the Fantasmic Pkg at Mama Melrose (Sept 22nd). I'm keeping it, just in case. However, saying that, we had the Fantasmic pkg last Sept (17th-24th) and MGM was almost empty that day. We didn't really need it and round up not even sitting in the reserved section, instead getting excellent seats in the Scar section.
