I'm going Sept 11 -18th this year. Is the dinner package necessary during this time frame. I want to see Fantasmic but the dinner package doesn't sound great.

thanks

We were there last week when the crowds were very light and we were very happy that we'd gotten the package. We arrived at the theatre about 25 minutes before show time and the rest of the theatre was packed. In the future, we'll arrive even later so as not to waste any precious ride time.
It seems as though without the package, you'd have to arrive pretty early to get a seat. I'd hate to have to waste all that time just waiting for the show to start.
The package seats aren't all that great, they're off to one side - but the way the show is set up, everyone has a good view of the action.
We ate at the H&V and paid the same price a anyone other diner there. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food.

Not really. After labor day until Columbus Day Weekend you'll be fine.

We go in Sept every year and we do not do the Fantasmic dinner package because a friend of mine was disappointed in the location of their seats. We had no problem finding a seat and we sat in the center instead of off to the side. We did have to wait about an hour before the show started, but it went pretty fast.

If we go this year I may consider the package because we are now taking our 13 month old DD and I won't want to sit there for an hour and with the package you can come into the show area later - but I have time to decide that.

Either way you will be fine.
