Fantasmic! Dining BB Question- 8:40pm reservation

Hello! We have a Fantasmic dining package booked at the Blue Bayou for 8:40pm on Friday, May 4. How rushed do you think we will be in order to get a good seat in the viewing area? I've read you should try to arrive as much as an hour early to the area where you line up. Or will that not be as much of an issue with the second show? Has anyone eaten that late? Do you think the restaurant will still be crowded that late?

We ate at BB with a 7:50 reservation for the second show. Family of 3, took our time and it took about an hour maybe a little more. You’ll have plenty of time to make the show and no need to line up early. We walked up 10 minutes before the show, it wasn’t crowded. There were a couple rows lined up at the railing but I liked sitting behind them with no one behind us. Have fun!

When I went we did the second show... After dinner we watched the Fireworks from Main Street then made our way over to the waiting area. We waited in line for about 10 minutes then they let us in and we just had to wait about 30 minutes for the show to begin. It was perfect. Have fun!
