We just did this the other night. Well worth it. Splurge if you can.

And IMHO, Fantasmic is WWWWWAAAAAAAYYYYYY better in DL than in WDW.

What time did you get in line to get your seat assignment?
Where were your seat
Do you think it matters where you sit?

There were two shows that night: we had ressies for the 10:30 show. They allow all people to check in at 8 PM. We got in line at about 7:45. We were the first ones to check in for our show so we had our pick. We're total eager beavers about this, though.

The seats are dead center and slightly left of the control "booth" Fabulous seats. I was worried at first about not being able to see over the rail but it was fine.

You would definitely want to be in the front row OR the back row. There might be a middle row, depending on how sold the section is. You might have to dodge heads if you sit there. They took away the back row for our show; there were only a handful of people there.

Loved it and would do it again in a minute! Beats camping out for a spot! On the 4th, there was a family already camped out at about 1 PM! Crazy!
