Fantasmic & Cypress gardens questions.

Hi-have booked the Fantasmic dinner package at MGM for 28/12/06.We have been given a 4.20 pm time slot and im wondering whether this means we have to watch the 6.00pm showing of Fantasmic or could we wait untill the later show.
Also as Disney will be heaving over xmas and new year i was thinking of trying Cypress gardens for a day out.Has anyone been recently and if so would you reccommend a day here.

I don't think the pass they give you indicates which you have to attend?? Anyone know for sure??
