Attending the fantasmic show for the first time on December 20th. We currently have it booked as a dinning package deal at Minnie seasonal dine. However, to do the package the latest time I could get was 2:20pm to eat. Is it worth doing as dinner deal package or just trying to fastpass or show up early. We are on the dinning plan. They only have one showing at 8pm that night. Traveling with 4 kids under 7 and my 81 year old grandma.

I think it depends on how you all like to tour. It believe it is going to be kind of busy that night, and I like things set in stone, so I would have an early dinner, late lunch and know I was pretty well set up for the show. If you are comfortable with trying for a FP, (you may want to try for it after you use your three FP) folks say that they are fairly easy to obtain. I am not sure I woudl want to go standby with an 81 year old and 4 youngsters.

Honestly, with that age group, I would probably stick with the early dinner, and then get a nice snack to enjoy either in the queue to go into fantastic, or while waiting They have plenty of food in the area.

When it comes to Disney I like mostly like stuff set in stone like you. The 220 dinner is what was bothering me the most. I keep checking and nothing has opeaned up yet. But I don’t want to have to wait an hour and since there’s only one showing have to miss it. We’re planning on being in Hollywood all day so I think we’ll have more than enough time so maybe that 220 will give us a chance to, rest up because it will be a good break time.

It's unlikely you'll find a later time, but you might be able to get an earlier time. That would be my goal. You would have a filling lunch and then could grab dinner nearer time for the show or something you can take into the theater and eat while you wait for the show to begin.

I actually was just able to book an 1120am time. So I currently have both. My concern is that the 11 o’clock time will cut too much into taking advantage of the early morning park touring. Any input?

Quick opinion:
11:20 is not early - especially if you're planning on rope dropping. It actually would appeal to me to beat the lunch crowd, and get back to touring while most people are looking to get into a restaurant line.

I would do the 11:20 then have a QS dinner before the show. 11:20 should be plenty of time to take advantage of the low RD crowds.

Pardon my silly question but what does RD stand for? You said low rd crowds?

Valid point to think about
