Why do these have to be so close together? On our HS night SW starts at 9:30 and Fantasmic at 9. (May 17th)
I really wanted to book the SW dessert party but that would mean missing Fantasmic.
Or we could skip the party, watch Fantasmic and run over to SW along with a ton of other people. Neither seems ideal.

I guess we have to choose one? For those that have seen it, which show is better?

They schedule it this way to split the crowds every night.
As to which is better it's like comparing apple to oranges. Do you like Disney characters better than Star Wars? Do you prefer a full 30 minute show or a 12 minute spectacular is fine?

I'm way into Disney but my husband is more into Star Wars. But your probably right. It's Apples to Oranges. I'll just have to make a choice and stick with it.

This is for crowd control, their Fantasmic! is absolutely terrible though, I wouldn't bother.

Although I've been at both hundreds of times, I would still bother seeing Fantasmic. But I like SWaGS too.

My decision was easy Fantasmic because with what I already spend I refuse to pay for any of the so called extra's.

My vote is for F!, because I think it's a great show. I also think dessert parties are a gigantic waste of money, so I wouldn't vote for it anyway.

If you don't do the dessert party, you can do both. We've done it several times. You have to boogie out of F! and may miss the first 90 seconds of Star Wars, but you can still do it.

I’ll be at HS that same night! I think I’m going to do fantastic. Never seen it!

:scared1: :faint:

Please tell me your vacations last 6 months. :D
To take the girls with no arguments I end up taking 5 of their maternal relatives and we usually stay for 10-12 days and now the girls have fallen in love with both deluxe hotels and the deluxe meal plan. It all adds up.

You cannot do both on the same night, they really designed it so you can't get out of Fantasmic! Fast enough to do so.

Not true, you absolutely can do both. As I posted, we've done it more than once. In fact, each time we've done it there has been two CMs at the exit path split point. One with a sign saying "Exit" and an arrow pointing one way. The other with a sign saying "Fireworks" and an arrow pointing the other way.
