Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks question

Thank you all who responded about the choice to make. We have park hoppers; however, we just don't have the extra available night to go back to Hollywood Studios so based on all your wonderful advice....Fantasmic it is and if we happen to be lucky enough to catch some of the fireworks we'll consider ourselves lucky. Dumb question - how can I tell what nights they're doing the new Star Wars fireworks? I am trying to plan my FP's for Sept. and don't know what night to pick.

They haven't released fireworks time yet past Sept. 5th.

Oh yes, my bad-it is scheduled until Sept. 24. I just knew it wasn't scheduled for our week yet, which is the last week of Sept.

Is there any way you can spend two nights at the Studios? If you've never seen Fantasmic, it is my favorite night show in Disney, and I wouldn't miss it. We plan on skipping it for the Star Wars fireworks since they're new for us.

Thank you! Our last trip was the first week of June so we missed FEA and the new fireworks AND the new Soarin. At that time I think they were still doing the OLD starwars fireworks but they weren't doing them every night - didn't realize they were doing the new ones EVERY night - that makes planning easier. Going Sept. 17th adults only for F&W so trying to hit everything this time. THANKS again!

I've never been a fan of fantasmic so I would never pick that over somethign else. i'm also a huge fan of fireworks so generally that gets picked above all else...

Inside the park:

I would call sunset blvd a better view than you have for hollywood blvd (although they can get a peek of the middle of the projections but not much as they are very left or right oriented and out of view).. The high altitudes are very clear view from there all the way back into RnR courtyard. you can also see part of the low altitude but almost no projections.. I can't comment on the other side, I never stood over there.

there is also nice benches to just sit down and enjoy and not many on the street.
