I plan on going to MGM on Wednesday November 30th.
For some reason the park closes at 7pm that night instead of the normal 8pm.
Osborne Lights are listed from 6-7pm & Fantasmic is scheduled for 7pm. I've read on these boards that when the park closes at 8pm you can still catch the Osborne Lights after Fantasmic,
BUT,
How can you see both Fantasmic and the Osborne Lights when the park closes at 7pm???
Can you still get herded over after Fanstasmic?

We have seen Fantasmic at park close and then been able to walk over for Osborne.

Last year in early December, we did Fantasmic, which was at park closing time or 7 or 8, I forget which. Many of the people from Fantasmic, including us, trooped over to the Osbourne lights after Fantasmic let out. We had plenty of time to enjoy the lights, and we weren't hurried out by the CM's at all. In fact, DH and I hung back a little to let the worst of the crowds through, then enjoyed the lights at our leisure. As people left the Osbourne lights area, the CM's directed everyone straight to the park exit, but again, there was no feeling of being rushed out. So I think you'll have plenty of time to enjoy them.

Glad to hear this.. I was wondering this too.

Glad to know this, never thought you could see the Osbourne lights after the Fantasmic show. We are taking people with us in Decembe & they have never seen either. Thanks.

This sounds like a good plan. It would even let some of the crowd disperse before trying to get on the bus back to the resort.

For those that have been...do they have snow on the street where the Lights are? I am almost certain I read somewhere that happened but I haven't been able to find that info again. :scratchin

Yes it does snow. they also give you 3 d glasses and all the little lights look like angels. It is fun!

Thanks! We are really looking forward to seeing the Lights...and the snow! :teeth:

Does anyone know if the Osborne Lights are on during evening EMH at MGM???

Don't forget those of you who will be there in the week before Thanksgiving, like we will. They start November 14 as does Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade in the afternoon at AK!!! I have seen the Osbourne Lights last year and was absolutely "thrilled" :goodvibes to see we would be able to see them early this year!!! I have never seen the Mickey's Jingle Jungle parade, so I think we'll do that new this year!!! Have fun!!!

Where do you get the 3d glasses? Are they free?
