Anyway here goes, Fantasia Gardens in a miniature golf course near to the Swan and Dolphin hotels and the Beach Club. The course is a great way to spend some time away from the parks and is great fun, there are 2 course there one harder than other, both are themed in the Fanatasia classic movie style. You can get snack food there also. To get there follow signs for the Swan and Dolphin resorts and the course is on the left hand side 200 metres before the resorts.
The Whispering Cannyon and Beaches & Cream are 2 of my favourite places to eat as they both have a great fun atmosphere. To book simply phone disney dining and make reservations in advance as this will avoid dissapointment. Simply drive to the resort and the guard will ask what restaurant you are eating at and they check this against there list.
At the Whispering Cannyon arrive early and check out the Wilderness Lodge resort it's a great place, this is where we have our
DVC ownership. Ask for either Kate or Jethro to be your servers, both have been there since it opened and really do enchance your "fun" Remember to join in the fun and ask for ketchup there's lots of it . The pic is the result of my daughter dare asking for ketchup.
As for the Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club, same process for arriving and booking the restaurant is themed like an old style ice cream parlour although they sever much more than ice cream. Try the kitchen sink, see pic below. The sink is a handfull and it takes quite a few people to help. We didn't manage it. It's all good fun or course you can each at all the resorts staying of site, although I would say that the only way to get the best of this type of vacation is to stay within the world.
