I love documentaries. They are my favorite genre. I have to agree with the Ken Burn ones.
I loved his Dustbowl and have watched that one and his Civil War one a few times.
Also one HBO did called Boy Interrupted about a kid who had suicidal thoughts since very young
and finally did it. Some others I thought were well done and stick out.........
Being a sports fan I love all 30 for 30 ones but my favorite is " The Two Escobars" and "Once Brothers".
"The day the towers fell" Very good and moving one about 9-11.
"Crash of the Century" About the deadliest plane crash in history that killed 583 people when
2 planes that were on the ground at the airport ran into each other.
"Three Identical Strangers" Very good doc about triplets separated at birth and adopted out
who find each other.
"There's something wrong with Aunt Diane" Great Doc about the mother who drove the
wrong way on freeway and killed 8 people including her daughter and nieces.
"I'll be gone in the dark". About the manhunt for the Golden State Killer.
"Mcmillions". About the McDonalds scandal with their Monopoly game.
The BEST documentary I have EVER seen was "Active shooter". I think it came out last year
on Showtime. About different mass shootings from the perspective of the victims and their
families...police ..and EMTs. SCARY! I don't know if it was the step by step way it was told or what
but I couldn't sleep for 2 nights (and I'm a horror movie fan).
