i am taking DD17 on a trip for a few days in july. it will be just us. i want to take her somewhere nice/special to eat. can anyone make reccomendations for a place that is only 1 TS credit? thanks

There are so many choices.. can you tell us a little about what types of foods you like...
for seafood there is coral reef
for a red meat LeCellier

for mexican maybe San Angel in Mexico, some people complain about the water smell though..

do you like buffets? Biergarten .. plus a little show from the band

Boma for african fare....

oh soo many choices.. help us to narrow it down :)

My favorite 1 TS restaurant is Wolfgang Puck. The atmosphere inside is a bit chaotic (very loud and often crowded) but if you can get a seat on the patio outside, it's a bit more relaxing. The food is amazing!!!

I did the Coral Reef with my DD. I thought it was "fancier" than Le Cellier.

Spoodles, Le Cellier, San Angel, Maya Grill. These are some of the more fancy atmospheres of the 1 ts credit places.

I wouldn't call it a fancy atmosphere but Kona Cafe serves nice food. 'Ohana serves good food and is fun. You might get a window table with a good view of the lagoon.

My girlfriends and I went to Disney last spring and we were all 19. Our favorites were Coral Reef, Ohana, and Boma. I went to Le Cellier when I was 17 and it felt kind of like a dungeon, and I don't eat a lot of meat so I didn't really like the menu. Also enjoyed Spoodles.

Tutto Italia. THe interior is really beautiful and the food was great! The veal ravioli was one of the most memorable meals I've had in a long time. It doesn't seem at all like theme park dining.

Good ONE! I do not east there anymore since we have two little ones and feel it would not be appropriate.. probably why I thought it was 2 TS credits, but it is 1 and a very good choice

My vote would be for LeCellier!

I absolutely agree with you...right down o the veal ravioli....an EXCELLENT meal when we were there last week.

This would be our second choice....

I'm surprised no one mentioned Chefs De France

For a 1 TS I LOVE Raglan Road. Also Cap'n Jacks has lobster on the menu, which is yummy! Wolfgang Puck Cafe is great and we loved Chefs de france for the romantic atmosphere. Finally Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is wonderful. It is also amazing to wander around the resort.

Good luck and have fun!

yup, no contest:thumbsup2
upscale, with excellent food & service. to note: if not on the DDP, it is very expensive.

OP, if you're wondering why there aren't as many recommendations for TI as other places, it just opened last year (where alfredo's used to be).
:)
