Fan2CSkr: HRH Pool Entertainment Question

What time did the band, comedian, movie, etc. start & end? We have a cabana booked for 1 day, & I'm trying to fit our dinner reservations around the possibility that we may want to hang out by the pool that evening. Thanks

We rented a cabana on a Saturday and it also happened to be Memorial weekend. I dont know if they usually have something live each day/evening at the HRH pool but they did when we were there. Maybe as it gets closer they can give you a soft schedule. They even had 2 dive in movies that week.

The day we rented the cabana I made sure we didnt have a reservation so we could be flexible with the entire day. We had lunch in the cabana ordered from the beachclub. Starting around 5P there was some sort of pool entertainment that day. Sunday there was a live band that played from around 7P till 11P. There was also a DJ during the day on friday and saturday. The pool was ALWAYS hopping and a really fun place to hang out.

At around 10:30P we decided to eat dinner! We were going to order room service when my husband checked to see if The Kitchen was still serving. They were and thats where we ate that night.

It was an awesome day we relaxed, did the parks a little, played in the pool and had some great cabo wabos. I cant wait to do it again!

Thanks for the info. We'll be there 7/23 to 7/28. This is Sun. through Thur. We're leaving HRH & going to Daytona Beach for a few days.

I was planning to leave our cabana day open too. Yesterday, our DS & I were sitting in the living room when the Emeril toothpaste commercial comes on. We love Emeril's restaurants, but weren't as thrilled with Tchoup Chop as the others. Anyway, I told DS we'd be Bamming next month. His reply was, "At Emeril's & TC, right? Me: "Well no, we weren't going to TC this time." DS: "But it's an Emeril's restaurant. We need to go there too. Maybe, it will be better this time." Being a Mom that is thrilled when he or his dad show any interest in vacation planning, I feel I must fit in TC. Stupid commercials!!! We're staying 5 nights, & now have 5 restaurants to fit in, not including HRC for lunch. We may have to move Mythos to lunch too, but it really does have a great atmosphere in the evening. Why can't I be one of those spontaneous vacationers? I make planning a trip so much harder than it should be.

Great to hear I'm not the only one with a DH who has no interest in the planning at all, and is sick of hearing about it in the first couple of days of planning. When I complain he always says "I'll get excited on the plane!!". What a waste of excitement - planning is half the fun

I always tell my DH & DS that they'd have much more fun, if they would participate in the planning process. They just don't get it. Oh well, I'll have enough fun for all of us.
