Fan Misters

Where can I buy a fan mister before I head to the park next week. I think it is one of the very few things left on my list that I haven't found (I love this board for all the great ideas). Does anyone have any suggestions where I might find one?

Target has them on clearance. At our store they were on the same aisle as the inflatable pools (also clearanced). They come with a shoulder strap and a bonus mini fam for $5 and some change. I bought one to share with my family of four but we willl each have a small personal non misting fan to carry as well (found the ones with light up blades at Wal-Mart for $2 each). HTH!

well our target sticks right now on my list... no misting fans... and it was soooo crowded in there with everyone getting ready to go back to school. I did look where the summer things were (no pools left), but some floats and things, no luck. I bought sun tan lotion yesterday there and no fans there either.

I just saw them at Walmart yesterday...
they were on a top shelf, but if you ask someone around where the fans are (near the hardware department?), they should be able to help you out.

Saw them at Walmart. They are clearanced by the pool and outdoor stuff. Also, they have Misty Mates too. They were not on sale but the fans were only $3. Good luck.

Picked one up just last Friday at CVS on clearance. MistyMate, regularly 21.99 and got it for 13.00. don't know how great they work, but for the price, figured I'd give it a try.

Hello,
I found my fan mister at Walmart for 4.96 in the clearance section. It wasn't on clearance though. I had to ask someone from hardware where they were, they used to be located in that department. Good Luck!

I just got the "Misty Mate" for $17.99 plus 30% off at our local Eckerd Drugs (are they all over?). It was in the summer clearance isle, with a smaller version of the Misty Mate for $11.99. They also had the kind you spray by hand.

Used the Wal-mart hand held ones ($2.97 ) that you can add water to and they worked great on our last trip (8/3 - 8/11). They were light weight enough the even with the water added to them they weren't a burden to carry or clip on a belt loop.

Keep in mind when using them that some people don't like to be "misted". It annoys me to no end when I'm in a queue and the person in front of me starts misting and blows water all over my, getting my prescription sun glasses all wet so I have to clean them.

They are also the only thing left on my list that i haven't bought, my MIL is going to look yet again at walmart, i'm going to a bigger town for dd's dr appointment on monday guess i'll check their walmart and thier target see if they have any left!!!

FOUND! I asked in the sporting goods dept after looking all over the clearance racks at walmart, and the said if they had any they would be in HARDWEAR??? And sure enough they were there down with the water pitchers and stuff... go figure!

I got soooo lucky yesterday Yard Saling. I found 4 sealed in package misters for .50 each!! I didnt think I was going to be able to bring them for our upcoming Oct. trip.

Wal-mart is now clearancing thier summer items. I found misting fans for $1.00 each (reg. $5.98), do-it-yourself laminating luggage tags (five in a set) for .75 (reg. $5.98) and various 10"-12" stuffed disney characters in the toy section for $2.50 (reg $5.99). Gosh, you just gotta love clearance at Wal-mart

Honestly, we bought fans from WalMart, and ended up getting the ones at the park because the WalMart fans broke the first day! If you have the $$ to spend, the fans from the park are really good. They blow the air a lot harder and they hold more water. It was worth the extra money to us to buy them at the park.

Ducklite, I am with you. Those fans are annoying. My son wears eyeglasses and I can't tell you how many times he handed them to me to clean because someone was spraying him.

I bought one yesterday for $7.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond. Not on clearance but I think I was lucky to find it at all!

BUT, I did get a nice BBQ set for half price, so technically the fan was free, right?
