I keep meaning to watch Beaches with my daughter, but I didn't realize it fell under the Disney umbrella. I saw this ages and ages ago, and I didn't even think about things like that then. Now I don't know if I can separate Barbara Hershey in my mind from her evil role on the Once Upon a Time series!

The Ugly Dachshund and That Darn Cat - I haven't seen these but will be looking out for them now.

I didn't know she was in Once Upon a Time. Who did she play. I haven't seen Beaches in years.

Appointment went well but it was a CT so I am still waiting on the results. She has low antibodies and has been pretty sick lately. SInce her cough hasn't gotten better (she got whooping cough in July. I got it from her), they are checking to make sure there is no infection hiding and not responding to antibiotic (she has been on antibiotics 5 times since July) or to see if there is any damage. Just waiting to see now.

Who is your favorite Disney sidekick?

Mine is Ray from The Princess and the Frog, but Maximus from Tangled is a close second.

(And for you Star Wars fans out there, IMO droids and furry space creatures absolutely count!)

I like Abu, and Zazu and Gus Gus.

I have a few: Wanda, Natasha, Yelena, and Rocket.

Do you ever find yourself having a soft spot for the baddies? If you answered yes, feel free to share your favorite Disney villain.

I have a few - Winifred Sanderson and Maleficent (live action) are top of the list, but lately I find myself understanding David Nix from Tomorrowland a little better and thinking maybe he deserves a bit more empathy, too.

After seeing Maleficent I would go with her.

She played Cora - Regina's mother

1) What is your favorite Disney/Pixar short?

2) What is your favorite Mickey Mouse cartoon/short?

My favorite short - Olaf's Frozen Adventure - isn't all that short, and it caused some controversy because some people didn't want to sit through a 21 minute short before Coco started.

My favorite Mickey Mouse cartoon/short is Vacation Fun. You can see this at Hollywood Studios. It makes for a nice break out of the sun, and there are some fun photo ops in the lobby.

I really hope her results are good and she feels better soon. It sounds like she has been having a super tough time. Poor girl!!!

Thank you. Everything has come back normal so I am waiting to hear about next steps. Thankfully I work from home (except for Thursdays) because I finally hit my limit and had my breakdown. I knew it was coming soon. Not that I wanted anything to come back bad but some answers would have been nice. I just hate seeing her so sick and there is nothing I can do.

I'm glad her reports are normal so far, but I feel for you not knowing why she is sick and feeling helpless. There have been so many times I wish I had gone to medical school in preparation for parenting. That knowledge and those skills would have come in handy so often. What is your favorite Disney hotel/resort at any Disney park or beach destination? And if you always stay off site, what is your preferred place to stay when visiting a Disney park?

Mine is Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love everything about it, and I'd be perfectly content to do a resort only stay there and never leave the property the whole time.

Ohh this is a tough one - I adore so many of the Villains. I'll go with cartoon Maleficent, not live action Mal. I adore the chaotic fae being who turns into a dragon to punish people who don't know how to honor the rules of hospitality. Should she have destroyed the kid's life? Meh. But a King and Queen should have known better than to exclude an important member of the Unseelie court from a party.

Skeleton Dance! From 1929. It's fun, spooky, and was pretty gosh darn special when it came out. It's only 5 minutes long but iconic:

And ummmm, I don't like any Mickey Mouse cartoons. I'm strange that way. Closest I've got is 1952's Trick or Treat with Donald and the nephews featuring Witch Hazel. The song always sticks in my head and makes me smile.
