fan club discounts out for PBH HRH and RP

Just got off the phone with Universal and all of the Fan Club discounts are out for June 2003 except Kids Suites at the Hard Rock, which is what I am waiting for. The Royal Pacific club level was $209 a night, the Hard Rock club level was $230 a night, the HR deluxe was $202 a night, and the HR pool view regular was $174 a night. The Portifino kids suite was $349 a night and deluxe pool view was $230 per night. Universal said the annual passholder discounts were out as are AAA but the Entertainment Book rates have not been released as yet.

Just got off the phone with HRH, and was told AAA, Fan Club, and AP rates were available, just not the KidSuite at HRH (which is what I was looking for). She said they may still be in the process of loading the rest of the discounts, as HRH discounts just started showing up late last night. I will check back later on today.

I just called for HRH for March, and the very nice young man said that FanClub rates are out for that time for the other two hotels, but not HRH. Maybe because it's been very popular, they don't feel the need to discount rooms there (yet?)? Absolutely nothing except rack rate at HRH for March so far, grrr... FC for RP in March was $160/water view, if anyone cares...

I just called and got the Fan CLub rate at the HRH for February 2003. My rate dropped from $309 a night to $202. I'm very happy with that rate. Thanks all!

I'm curious as to what phone number people are calling. Yesterday I called both Universal and HRH and was told that the discounted rates were not out for March 2003.

I really want to stay at the Hard Rock March 2003, but I'm beginning to think the discounts are going to be hard to get for for March. I just called and no discounts for the HR in March. I did make reservations for the Royal Pacific got the pool view at the $160 Fan Club rate. Since we've already stayed at the Hard Rock 3 times perhaps a change wouldn't be all that bad.

Are there usually discounts for HRH kids suites? This is the only type of room and place without a discount? The PBH has there kids suite rates out.

Just booked at the HRH, end of Jan., garden view at 160.00 ( waiting for the Entertainment book rate for better rate ) switched my ressie from RPH. The fan club rate for the RPH standard room is now 139.00 per night.

My ressies are for Feb 3-6 for a Deluxe room (with the Fan Club card) . I'll have 3 teenagers with me so we'll need the bigger room. Your days fall right in between Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays. You should try and book soon. I'm very happy with my rate of $202 but I will try for the Entertainment rate when (or if) it comes out. Good luck.

I did end up booking and got a rate of $229.00 for a garden view room. They said there were no fan club rates available for those dates but I could have gotten fan club rate for PBH for $202.00 per night. I felt a little silly not taking PBH but we think we'd really like HRH.
