Famous people you seen while on

Timely question for me (but sad). Coming home from WDW in 74 we saw Jeff Conaway in the airport. In his "Taxi" days, I thought he was quite handsome.

I was in an elevator with Ray Romano ("Everybody Loves Raymond') in the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. We also saw Al Roker at LaGuardia Airport on that same trip.

We saw Warwick Davis at Disney when we went. He was there for Star Wars Days. We saw several others at the actual Star Wars Parade/photo opp but we saw Davis and his family out and about with their tour guide in the parks a couple times that weekend.

While on vacation...

DH and DS saw Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at Crystal Palace lunch.

We saw Matt Damon last summer and were >< this close to him in Hanalei, Kauai. He's much smaller/slighter in person than he seems on the big screen.

Dh and I crossed paths with Tommy Lee and Ludacris several times at Planet Hollywood in Vegas 3 yeas ago. They were filming some sort of tv show there. I have lots of fuzzy photos.

We saw Blake something, one of the finalists from American Idol several years back in the L.A. airport. He was a few rows from us; my DD was excited.

In regular life...
I waited on Ollie North, Sam Donaldson, Art Monk, and lots of other Redskins players when I worked in high school and college at a local home repair store (Hechinger's). DH has worked with Mike Shanahan on a few occasions.

Saw & met Kid Rock several years ago at Islands of Adventure when he was there promoting the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel.

We were standing next to Kevin Bacon in the security check line in Chicago O'Hare. Did not talk to him just looked at him, smiled and left him alone.

Although I don't have much to report other than accosting Pierre Trudeau on the ski hill at Whistler in 1991...(perhaps one too many wine spritzers at lunch?) which fellow Canucks will maybe appreciate. But, my good friend was just away to New York for a girl's weekend last week and wound up trying on clothes in the same boutique as Goldie Hawn, Hi fiving Will Smith and riding up in their hotel elevator with Fred Willard and his wife. Not bad for a couple of days I would say. :)

I got to be friends with Paul Newman from talking to him so often at races and test sessions. He enjoyed being just another gearhead in that environment.

My Uncle had met him at some races as well and I got to meet him when I was 10 when I went with my Uncle. My younger cousins think it is so cool that we knew "Doc Hudson" from Cars.

I grew up in Hyannis on Cape Cod, so between the Kennedys and people doing summer theater/concerts, I saw a lot when young...

Judy Garland
Liza Minelli
Lorna Luft (Liza's half-sister)
Jane Fonda
Mitzi Gaynor

Kennedys: President Kennedy (patted me on the head when I was 4!), Jackie, Caroline,
JFK jr (HUNK!), Aristotle Onassis (liked Heineken), Ethel, Joan and all their kids, Bobby Shriver, Maria Shriver, Arnold; we belonged to the same golf club as the Kennedys and went to the same church, so we saw them every summer all summer long, so it was really not a big deal. Sailed with Ted once; what a great guy, loved life and was very funny.

Ricardo Montalbon(very charming)
Andy Williams
Leonard Nimoy
Diana Ross
Carol Burnett

I know there's more but that's what I remember right now.

Gene Simmons from KISS, and his entourage. He was on the same plane as we were when going to Columbus, OH.

DH got him to autograph his neurology textbook.
