Famous People You have met While at WDW

Nope didn't see anyone on our trip, but dh is a regional airline pilot and used to fly quiet a bit in California and has seen a few celebrities, but my faviorate is when he was in LA, trying to get home and was waiting to get on the plane. He had a feeling that someone was staring at him(in particular at his grey patch of hair on the side of his head). He turned around and Pierce Brosnan was standing there. They had a casual exchange, and said he's glad I wasn't there, because he is as good looking in person as on screen. Darn! I had a crush on him since Remington Steele!

Okay! I think this is someone without Disney spirit so none of us will probably ever see her there. Thank goodness! A co-worker (who is also a Disney addict) told me that Jennifer Anniston was recently on a talk show and was asked about being a famous celebrity and whether or not she could ever go to Disney. She replied something like, "Oh yeah, I could go there but I wouldn't!" I'm glad Brad dumped her!

Wow, I gotta try to remember all the famous people I've seen at WDW. Madonna, Faith Hill, Pauly Shore, Paris Hilton, Elton John, Tiger Woods, Shaquille O'Neal, Will Smith, David Letterman, Michael Vick, Julia Roberts. I went to school with Rod Stewart and Nicole Kidman. I also ate at Cosmic Ray's with the lady who used to be the stunt double for the Olsen twins when they were babies.

A few years back we saw Muhamad Ali by the entrance sign into the Sports Complex...he was by the sign having his picture taken.

Yeah, and what stunts did the Olsen twins need to do. The reason they got famous is because the show needed twins to play babies so they could double for eachother (child labor laws and so forth). I don't doubt the guys claim about who the lady claimed to be, I just throw the BS flag at her claim.

Lets see they needed a stunt double to go from sitting to standing. :rotfl2:

First trip to Epcot, we were standing in line DD(11) and myself to see Jafar and these guys in suits (??at WDW) came toward us walking toward the lagoon. One guy looked really familiar and said "HI" as they walked past. Thinking I knew him from somewhere :confused3 I said "HI" back. When they were standing looking out at the lagoon it hit me I didn't actually know him, but figured out why he looked so familiar. It was Edward James Olmos. After that several other people approached him to say something or shake his hand. Then he was lead away buy the WDW guys in suits.

Help me here. What does a "stunt double for babies" do? :confused3

Two years ago I was standing at one of the Boma buffet food stations at breakfast and Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) walked by with his plate of food. We had just ridden RnRC at the Studios the day before so when I got back to my table I pointed him out to the rest of the family. A bit later one of the chefs came over to ask us how our meal was and verified that it was indeed who I thought it was. Apparently he was at WDW with his family on vacation. We did not want to interrupt for a photo or autograph but it was neat to see him - especially after riding the Aerosmith coaster!

It was at DL not WDW. Sorry. My SiL and I were there at DTD to see a movie and it just happened to be the same day as the world premiere of the Princess Diaries 2. So we got to see ALL the people in the movie like Ann Hathaway, Julie Andrews, the body guard, the friend, the prince, etc. Sorry I don't know their real names. Some older guy walked by and everyone was taking his pic. I said "Who is that?" and some guy in front of me turned around and said that's the director Gary Marshall. Oops. We also saw Raven and Kelly Clarkson who both have songs on the soundtrack. Some other celebs were there just to see the film like Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown with their kids.

It was just pure luck. We didn't know that was happening that day. My DD would have liked it more than me since I didn't really know who the people were from the first movie. I still have the pics though which is kinda neat, especially the ones of Julie Andrews. That was nice since she's like Hollywood royalty. princess:

This past January I met Tom Savini, the makeup artist (actor, director) who worked on the a few of the Living Dead films and scores of other horror films. I had a hard time trying to impress anyone with this, my friends were more disturbed by the fact that I knew who he was.

In October 2002, we saw the Wiggles (Playhouse Disney) in the Magic Kingdom. Actually, it was Greg, Murray and Jeff, and Anthony was at the hotel. They were in plain clothes and with a tour guide. It was when they were taping for the Christmas Parade and also some promos for Disney Channel (which we watched them film the next day). They were very gracious and kind, and took a picture with us.

not at WDW, but at DL, we got to meet Aly & AJ when they did a concert. Most people we know have no clue who they are, but it was cool for the kids.

When I was much younger I remember we were in Epcot, and in line for Spaceship Earth, they stopped the line so that Princess Diana and her sons could go to the front of the line.

princess Di? Oh she was my role model when i was in elementary school. I would have LOVED to have seen her.

What a lucky aunt... I've always had a soft spot for him.

I literally ran into Britney Spears while at Disney Quest when she was just becoming famous! I know this is not at a park but this summer in NYC I was outside ABC headquarters and I saw Michael Eisner! I totally freaked out but I didnt lose my cool. I think Mr. Eisner thought it was odd when a 16 year old girl was yelling his name jumping up and down. It was great though, and he was very nice! :earsboy:
