My now 6 yr old has been good for some of these, including "doodles" (her term for Chicken and Noodles...we all use it now). I'm afraid the whole family also refers to "greenie beanies". For some reason, when she was two, it seemed she'd eat the food if it sounded cute. She still loves them, though.
When my brother was little, he used to refer to his crayons as "cranrans", much to the delight of my sister and me. How we hounded him about this, poor kid. But in his honor, we all call them cranrans now.
Oh, and one that my Dad coined...you know how in scary movies (oldie ones, esp) "they" always went out in the scary dark night with a torch (what, like there are no flashlights around? I guess the torch is just more dramatic.)...well, we were watching a movie one night long ago, and Dad said, "Uh-oh, they're in for it now. He's got his booger-huntin' torch."
One more from my daughter...one night it had snowed, and as we were getting into the car to take her to school, she saw tire tracks in the snow behind our van in the clean, white snow, and said, "Look Mom! Car-driving footprints!"
