Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on finding cheap airfare from the UK to the States.
They have finally made up their minds and after some persuasion (it helped that fares were cheaper) have decided to come for Thanksgiving.
This is very exciting news for us! DDIL, DSIL and the little one will be with us for the holidays. I know that Thanksgiving probably doesn't mean much to you Brits, but it is HUGE to us. DP is British and after 20 years here has really grown to appreciate the holiday, especially in light of the fact that we don't celebrate Christmas.
I lived in the UK for 4 years, and a group of us Americans always took off from work to make a huge traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I can remember one year we rented a restaurant, and gave them the recipes we wanted them to prepare (they were happy to have a packed restaurant on a Thursday night in November).
We're very excited.
So, while we usually have 12 people for Thanksgiving dinner, this year we'll have 15. Plus DSIL is a professional chef, so that means there'll be some first class help preparing dinner.
Next comes planning the family visit to WDW in 2007. Well, one step at a time I guess.
