We are going on an extended family vacation. Here’s the breakdown:
Family 1 - myself, my husband & daughter (6)
Family 2 - my brother, his wife, their 2 kids (boy 6, girls 4)
Family 3 - my parents - they are in their 60s

We are staying at the wilderness lodge. My family & my brother’s got 5 day park hoppers. My parents have 2 day park tickets (we will probably upgrade them to 3).

My parents originally said they’d go to Epcot and Hollywood studios (my dad is a Star Wars fan) but is Hollywood studios that great for them? They aren’t ride people. Would animal kingdom be better? I was thinking if we add the extra day for them - magic kingdom?

Since we got the park hoppers and WL is close to MK, should we book 2 days at HS instead of 2 days at magic kingdom? Since magic kingdom is so close to the wilderness lodge.

we have so park passes for
Epcot
MK
HS
AK
MK

We aren’t doing a park on the day we get there or the day we leave.

While HS is not great if you don’t love rides, it’s a must if your into Star Wars, the details in galaxy’s edge are insane and worth it. A drink at Ogas, a meal at docking bay 7. Seeing the characters walk around, checking out all the shops. Honestly for a Star Wars fan I think it’s a must.

With the ages of the kids I would do 2 MK days. I think overall the plan is pretty good and maybe add the parents for a day at MK the first one, as seeing it through the kids eyes is amazing.

Quick question, will this be the first trip to Disney for anyone in your group?
This is our (my husband, daughter & my) fourth trip together (3rd time at WL 😂). My brother and SIL took their kids last year but stayed off property. My parents brought my brother & I twice as kids. But we never stayed on property as a family. I don’t know if that matters.

I think overall the plan is pretty good and maybe add the parents for a day at MK the first one, as seeing it through the kids eyes is amazing.
Thanks. Maybe I’ll switch around the days then. Do MK, AK, HS, MK, Epcot if we add in a third day for my parents. So they aren’t at the resort 2 days straight or do the parks for 3 days and then nothing else. Split it up more so they can get the first day at MK with the kids
