Hey all! :wave2:

I have four children, ages 1, 3, 9, and 12. Does anyone have any advice on how to accommodate such a huge age difference with my kids? I want everyone to be together as much as possible since it is a family trip but obviously the older kids will want to ride stuff that the younger ones can't ride. The younger ones will be more interested in seeing the characters. The oldest two have been before but the youngest two haven't. I have been planning our trip and making fastpass selections and it is stressing me out! :sad2:

Just want to have a great trip as a family! Any advice?

My kids are 15, 13, and 7 and we go to WDW every year. When the youngest was little, we'd ride what we could together as a family and then split up just for the one or two rides that he couldn't do. DH would take the big kids on a ride and I'd take the little guy to meet a character or get a snack or check out a gift shop. He LOVED characters, so it worked out well for us.

I also have 4 kids who are spread out in ages -- 17, 11, 8 and 5. We visit WDW yearly so our kids know the drill. We ride together as a family what we can (which is a lot in WDW). Then we occasionally split into 2 groups for the bigger kid rides. One of us takes the kids who are big enough on the big kid rides and the other takes anyone who is not tall enough or does not want to ride to meet a character or ride something else. We prefer to spend the bulk of our time together as a family.
