DM (67)
DSis (39)
DNephews (9, 7)
DInlaws (??)

This was our second trip with DVC and our first in the Summer - I do not think we will go again in the Summer. But we have one of the best vacations ever.

August 19 - Arrival Day
We arrived in Orlando at 9:30, we stayed at BCV in a two bedroom, it was great. My DSis had a studio as did my DIL. Our room was not ready till 4:00 so we went swimming. We went to BOMA that night, what a great buffet dinner, everyone enjoyed it. We saw Illuminations fireworks from our hotel balcony. :flower:

August 20 - Kennedy and my DSis arrives
My DH and two older sons went to Kennedy today. Me, My Mom and my youngest pool hopped at the Boardwalk. It was nice but the Beach Club pool is so big that that one looked so small. My DSis and my DNewphews arrived around 12:30. We at at Beaches and Cream then went swimming.

Dinner was at Chef Mickey's and then we rode the Monorail. The oldes 4 boys got to sit up front, the loved that. :bounce:

August 21 - Epcot and DILs arrived
It was EMH at Epcot, we said we were not going to do them, but Disney switched so we went. The boys went on Test Track, Mission Space and Soarin all within the first 45 minutes. My middle son (6) loved Mission Space, I did not know he went on till it was over, I was in the bathroom with my youngest.

My Inlaws arrived around 10:30, and rode Soarin again with the boys.

After that we went to Innovations and at lunch. We did not see the Countries as it was so hot that day, and the boys wanted to go swimming.

We ate dinner at ESPN and went on the Wishes Cruise that night. It was the highlight of the trip. Sarah our captian was the best. She got our boat right in front of the train station and the view was great.

August 22 - MGM Day and Illuminations
Again we were up early and arrived at MGM by 9:10. The boys did not want to ride the rides so we saw, Indiana Jones, Stunt Show, My DH and little one went to Playhouse Disney. The park was really quiet this day. Ate lunch at Pizza Planet and saw some characters but we waited about an hour for the boys to get their pictures taken. By then we were tired and went swimming.

After Dinner in China at Epcot we saw Illuminations, we were all tired and went to bed. Tommorow is MK. :cool1:

August 23 - MK Day
We had been to WDW 7 times and had never been their when it opened. Well today we got to see it, it was so fun, my family laughed at me because I was teary eyed. :confused3 Headed to Fantasy Land and walked onto the Tea Cups, IASW, Peter Pan. My DH and older boys went back to Buzz and Space Mountain and rode them. Went to CP, my DSis favorite, she loves POOH. After lunch we road the splash mountain (that was a little scary) and BTM, my DM even rode it. We were ready for a swim untill I saw the parade was starting. I made everyone stay and we were exhausted from the heat. I will never do that again.

We went swimming and eat at Beaches and Cream that night. We went to bed early. Inlaws went to Ohana and PI.

August 24 - MK Again.
We see the opening show at MK and we are off and running. DUMBO is first. My and my little one (3) are the 2nd ones on. My DH and all the bigger guys went back to Buzz and Space Mountain (Space Mountain was closed for some reason, my oldest got a free FP, but was afraid to go back on knowing it was broken before). After Dumbo, we road the Carosel (sp) and saw Philamagic, I love that show. Did IASW again and went to Adenture land. Road Haunted Mansion, Pirates, BTM, Presidents, Aladian, Splash Mountain all before 11:00. Ate at PECO bills and took the train to Toon Town. This was a little crowded, but the kids went on Goofy and back on the Tea Cups, we left it was getting crowded and went back to the hotel.

Ate at Wolf gang Puck Cafe (Rich was our server and he was great) and went to DTD.

August 25 - Water Park Day and my DSIS leaves
My DSIS left this morning, she said she never saw so much in WDW as she did this trip. Her Inlaws live an hour away so they do go quite a bit.

My Inlaws, DH and older two sons went to Typhoon Lagoon. Me and my DM and youngest went outlet shopping and then to the Wilderness Lodge to go swimming. It rained so we walked around the lobby and had lunch.

Met up with the other around 2:00 and they went to the Pool. I was tired and took a nap. This planning took alot out of me. :rotfl: Acutally I needed some alone time.

We wanted to see Wishes again so we go to MK one last time. Unfortunately the we drove the Contemporary and took the Monirail. Well it broke so we waited for a bit at the Grand Floridain and took a boat the MK. We were meeting my DIL and we were an hour late. We ate walked around the shops and saw Wishes. We stayed for about 20 minutes and saw a little of Micheal Bolton performing in front of the train station. He was doing a PBS special.

We went back to the hotel and packed.

August 26 - Leaving Day
Our flight was not until 4:30 so we packed and went to Cape May Cafe, I dropped a stroller off at All Stars (a did a stroller swap). We did a little shopping at DTD and went to the Airport. :sad1:

We used our DDE card and saved around $200. It was well worth it. :cool1:

I have to say this was by far one of the best trips we ever went on. It was hot, but we accomplished so much. My family and especially my DH appreciated the planning and thought our trip was awesome. That is the best feeling.

It sounds like you did an amazing job planning, especially for a relatively large group! I'll have to see about booking the Wishes cruise for our next trip. Thanks so much for posting! :sunny:
