Family Suite

My BF and I are headed to Disneyland next month to check out the new Carsland. We both have a child and want to make sure everyone is comfortable so have decided to get something where both families have their own room. We are looking for something across the street or within a block (Anahiem Plaza is the further distance we would like). Hopefully that has a livingroom area with two bedrooms or two full sized bedrooms. Any recommendations? I have seen allot of "suites" but the second sleeping area is the livingroom area and no one wants to do a pull-out.

I've never stayed but our friends are staying at the Desert Inn this weekend and they have a family suite that sleeps 8. It's across the street so it's walking distance. Good luck planning!

We are booked at the desert inn in November. We have the family suite. It's 2 rooms with 4 queens and 2 baths.

The Best Western Anaheim Inn has suites with either a King and two doubles or 3 doubles. You might have to book them on the Best Western website rather than the hotel's own website. I can't give an evaluation of them, though (we are considering whether to do that or Candy Cane in without a suite on an upcoming trip).

Jack - love the look of the hotel and the free breakfast bar - looks a bit far from DLR, though. (We've been spoiled with short walk from across street). Did you guys walk or use shuttle?

Its a tad under 1/2 mile, we have always walked with 4 kids 4-8, never been a problem, used ART on occasions but found it took less time to walk then to wait for ART on most occasions.
