Hi!

Looking for recommendations for our Priority Seatings. I know there will be a jillion different ideas, and I'm looking for all of them! Traveling next March. Our kids will be 7 and 4-3/4 then.

Hoping for the Hoop-de-Doo for our arrival night. And, going to try for Cinderella's breakfast (or lunch, if necessary). Planning on 1 PS per day. So, I'll need 2 for the Magic Kingdom and 1 each for the other parks. Haven't decided which will be lunches and which will be dinners (we'll probably eat breakfast in the timeshare, other than Cinderella, if we get it). I'm open to suggestions there, too!

What do you think? I'm willing to stretch my kids' horizons a bit, but am looking for great family-eating. I think we mostly want to eat in the parks, but if there's a resort restaurant we just shouldn't miss ... let me know!

Thanks in advance!!!

I would recommend the Liberty Tree Travern. This is located in MK and has wonderful homestel food. To me it was like Thanksgiving! It's an all you can eat, but they bring the food to you. It is a character meal where Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the main gang pop in for a spell in their colonial clothes.

Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge is loads of fun for younger kids. Beaches And Cream at the Yacht/Beach Club is a great choice, but long waits are the norm and they don't take PS.

I second Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. It is family style with all the trimings of a Thanksgiving dinner. We also love 'Ohana at the Poly - just a monorail ride away from MK and Epcot. It is also family style and they bring you out a large pupu plater with chicken wings, wontons, salad, veggies, bread and some great dipping sauces. They walk around with large skewers of meat, turkey and shrimp and give you as much as you want. Desert is fresh pineapple with camel sauce. If you want to do the Fantasmic dinner package at MGM we have done this with both Mama Melrose and Hollywood and Vine. We though H&V was better for the money and then you do not have to wait in line for Fantasmic. We have done Rose and Crown in Epcot a few time - once on NYE - and timed it right so we could watch IllumiNations from their outside patio.

In MK our kids (DD age 9, DS age 5), would pick Crystal Palace. They also liked the lunch we had at The Plaza. In Epcot, their choice would be Biergarten, Alfredo's or Coral Reef. At the Studios they love the Sci-Fi, hands down. At the resorts, favorites include Chef Mickey's, and Whispering Canyon Cafe. ::MinnieMo

The one thing I have to add is to caution you against too may buffets. It's so much more relaxing for the entire family if you can sit and rest instead of getting up and down all the time. With kids your kids' ages, you couldn't send them through the buffet by themselves, so you'll have to get up every time they want something.

Ohana's at the Polynesian is awesome! The kids would love it, they have dancing, music, Lilo and Stitch theme song, hula hoop contest, twice during dinner the kids run around the dining area w/ a broom pushing a ball! It's all you can eat buffet (brought to you). Great deal, I highly recommend it! :cool1:
