We are staying in Fort Wilderness, so we will have our Travel Trailer with us. We have 5 kids, and 2 adults.
I am thinking of eating one meal each of the 3 days we are in Disney World. I want to do the Cinderalla Castle with the 3 girls, Mickey Chef with the whole family, and the SiFi resturant with everyone.
This could change.
Now my questions are, would the dining plan include the Character meals?

Can you do Mickey Chef and not have a hopper pass for that particular day? We are coming in on a Wed, thinking maybe we would do dinner with Mickey if it would not count against our hopper days.

I plan on bringing our own snacks, drinks, and taking a break to go back for lunch or dinner. I am overwhelmed on these boards, so I can't even imagine what it will be like when we get there.

Thanks,
Lynn

I thought I added my kids ages in my siggy, so that would help when I posted.
Here are the ages of the kids, they will be about the same age when we go. They will be closer to 1/2 years or almost to the next birthday.

You are camping at Fort Wilderness, correct? I don't believe these stays are eligible for the dining plan. The dining plan is only available when booked as a package including room and at least one day's park admission for each person in the party 3 and older.

The Dining Plan does include all character meals, but Cinderella's Castle is considered Signature Dining on the plan for all meals.

Chef Mickey's is located at the Contemporary Resort, not at a theme park, so it would not count against your park ticket. All restaurants inside a theme park require theme park admission.

If you are planning on bringing snacks and eating a meal back at Ft. Wilderness, there is no way you will get your money's worth out of the dining plan. I would suggest not doing it (if it's even an option for Ft. Wilderness, which I'm not sure it is).

Yes, you can as long as you book FW as a package. In order to be considered a package you MUST book at least a one day base ticket for everyone in the party and add on the dining. We were looking at bringing our pop up down until we decided to switch to Pop Century.

The restaurants you mentioned are on the dining plan and would be included, but as someone else mentioned Cindy's is 2 table credits. Depending on if you planned to eat CS or back at your TT would help determine if it's worth it or not to you?! If you are staying longer than you would want a package for you could make it two seperate reservations.
