Where can a family of 5 stay at wdw properties, without getting two rooms?

don't know all of them but here are some: GF (this is where my family of 5 stayed), fort wilderness cabins, POR (some rooms have a trundle bed for 5th person), Poly, CR, DVC villas.

i'm sure there may be other deluxe resorts that sleep 5 also, but i'm not sure which ones.

We're a family of 5 (dh, 2 9 yo dd's, 2 yo, and myself) doing POR in Aug. We'll be doing the trundle bed scenario.
95 more days! :cool1:

We are staying at the Polynesian June 18 - 24th. They have 2 Queen beds and a daybed. The daybed looks small in the picture, but our youngest is only 6 so this should be fine for her. I think it really depends on the age and size of your family members. If you have teenagers, you may want two rooms at a value resort vs 1 room at a deluxe or moderate.

Whatever you decide to do, have a great time.

We always stay at the POR. Our whole family loves it there. 2 dbls and a trundle are fine for us (DS16, DS15 AND DD9) considering we don't spend much time in the room. Now there is no charge for a trundle or fridge! :cool1:

Also Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk Inn. 5 can stay in the deluxe rooms at the Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge, but the cost is about the same as the better-located deluxe resorts.

Except for at the Boardwalk Inn, where it is indeed small, those daybeds are plenty big enough for a normal-sized person.

I have a family of 5 and we always stay at POR for the cost factor. However, we couldn't get in for the last week of June and got a great deal on a Wilderness Cabin - $154/nt! I hope we won't miss the pool right outside the door.

Last year we stayed at POR for our family of 5; 2 adts and 3 dds that were 12, 8 and 4 at the time. The 12 yr old slept in the trundle bed w/o any problem.

Our family of 5 has stayed at POR, AKL and Fort Wilderness cabins before we bought into the Vacation Club. You could look into renting points on the DVC Board. We liked all the choices, although POR was a smaller room, and at the time our kids were 6-8-10.
